WHAT SHOULD I DO THIS WEEK?

should gradually make a list of the universities in which you have
the highest chance of getting accepted, and write down their deadlines. It
helps you to be approximately aware of the deadlines to complete your
materials on time.
For choosing universities you may check universities' web sites. You may
firstly choose from universities' rankings from related sites. Then you
should consider each university's "minimum requirements" for admission.
Pick universities which match your case the most. In this Monthly A.A, we

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

I'm
planning to apply for 2005 fall. I will take an admit only if I have aid.
Some people say it is better to attach a TSE score along with other
scores, so that there is a better chance of aid. Is that true?

It is true. North
American universities basically award three types of financial aids,
Teacher Assistantship, Research Assistantship, and Fellowship. In recent
years, most universities only nominate applicants for RA and Fellowship if
you do not take TSE.

I took
the TOEFL on august 29,2003. I want to apply for fall '05 . Would you
please tell me whether my score is valid or not?

Universities accept
TEOFL scores which are not taken more than two years ago. Therefore, your
score is valid and will expire on August 29, 2005.

What are
the academic requirements for getting admission in an Canadian
universities? Mine are 60% thru out from Mumbai University. Is it possible
for me to get admission?

GPA is the most important factor for Canadian universities. Higher GPA you
have better school you can get admission from.

How can I
get to know which universities are suitable for me without knowing my
scores? So I am giving my exam in august end when I should start to search
of universities? And from where I get to know about universities.

your overall quality. Your researches, publications, grades, SOP,
recommendation letters, and etc play important role in your application
process. We recommend you to gradually start for searching appropriate

Right now
I am in final year engineering and I am waiting for 3 rd year results .and
there's a possibility of having a backlog and so incomplete result of 3
years engineering in electrical and electronics and so is that I am
eligible for acquiring financial aid and scholarship for 2006 admission.

You may also apply for fall 2005. North American universities only require
your grades and GPA of six complete semesters in order to review your
file.
